Gründl — Amazon DE Catalogue & Revenue Growth
Gründl
Challenge
Gründl is a family-run German yarn and haberdashery specialist founded in 1933, now in its fourth generation. With 1,300+ products and 4,250+ retail customers across Germany and Europe, their Amazon.de presence was non-existent — listings fragmented across third-party resellers, no brand-owned catalogue, no storefront, no PPC.
Approach
We established Brand Registry control, reclaimed the catalogue from third-party resellers, and rebuilt 1,300+ listings with Rufus-optimised keywords and German-native PPC structure. A+ Content for hero SKUs. Sponsored Brands anchored on "Made in Germany, since 1933." Results to be confirmed with client.
The situation
Gründl is a family-run German yarn and haberdashery specialist founded in 1933, now in its fourth generation. Strong brand recognition in craft retail, over 1,300 products, 4,250+ retail and wholesale customers across Germany and Europe. On Amazon.de, none of that translated — listings were fragmented across third-party resellers, no brand-owned catalogue, no storefront, no PPC. The brand was leaving the entire Amazon channel on the table.
What we did
We started by establishing Brand Registry control and reclaiming the catalogue from third-party resellers. Then we rebuilt the listings from scratch — 1,300+ products with consistent attribute structure, Rufus-optimised keywords across the range, German-native PPC structure built from problem-oriented search intent (not translated US logic).
A+ Content was created for hero SKUs (Hot Socks, Cotton Quick, King Cotton). Sponsored Brands campaigns launched with localised creative anchoring the “Made in Germany, since 1933” claim.
Status
Catalogue live. Brand Registry active. Storefront live. PPC contribution-positive. Results to be confirmed with client.
